Michael Raguso

Age 68, late of Lockport passed away peacefully at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox on Monday, January 4, 2021. Michael lived his life surrounded by family and cherished every moment. Born in Chicago, raised Playfield, IL., and a resident of Lockport for the past 20 years. An avid Chicago Cubs fans and fulfilled his mission in life watching the Cubs Win the World Series in 2016. Michael enjoyed working at Broken Arrow Golf course and Napa Auto Parts, Lockport, he was a dedicated employee and hard worker. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Theresa (Nee Spotts) Raguso; his aunt Jean (late Frank) Gallo; andbrother-in-law, Daniel Sadler.

Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 18 years, Patricia Mladic; loving children, Gina (Robert) Hoekstra, Martin (Viviane) Raguso, Jeffrey (Tricia) Mladic and Scott (Stacey) Mladic; eight cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Allison, Nathan Hoekstra, Eliana, Nicholas Raguso, Abigail and Jackson and Joshua Mladic; a sister, Barbara (Michael) Adams; two nieces, Amy (Charles) Smeriglio and Karen (fiancé Eric Christianson) Sadler. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Raguso family which will be personally delivered to the Davita Renal Care Center New Lenox - Dialysis Facility.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL., 60441 from 4:00pm until 6:30pm. A private family memorial gathering will be held from 7:00pm until 8:00pm. Everyone will meet at St. Dennis Church 1214 S. Hamilton St., Lockport on Thursday, January 14, 2021 for a Memorial Mass at 10:00am.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing practices are required inside the funeral home and a limited capacity will be allowed at one time.
