Mildred Louise Bottorff

(Nee Stevens)

Age 90, late of Lockport passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 9, 2023, with her daughter by her side. Born in Joliet, raised in Lemont, and a longtime resident of Lockport. She worked at Continental Distillery in Lemont and was a dedicated CNA at Franciscan Village in Lemont where she retired after many years of dedicated service. She was an avid reader but above all else she enjoyed spending time with her family. Mildred was a kind and loving soul and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by two beloved children, Debra Carroll, and Charles Eugene Bottorff; her parents, Charles and Agnes (Nee Newton) Stevens; one brother, Edward Stevens; and a sister, Betty (Fritz) Feichtner.

Survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Eugene Bottorff of Lockport; her devoted daughter, Sandy (Jim) Ferry of Joliet; three adored grandsons, Eric (Mary) Ferry, Adam (Robin) Ferry, and Jason (Christine) Bottorff; four cherished great grandchildren, Krista and Aidan Ferry, and Preston and Kameron Ferry; and her loyal caretaker, Pat Yirsa.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 10:00am until time of Service at 11:00am with Deacon Kevin Ryan Officiating. Following Service Interment will be held at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Lemont.
