Nicholas "Nick" P. Almanza Jr.

Born and raised in Chicago before moving to the Joliet area in 1977. Nicholas was a huge Chicago sports fan and he was so happy to witness all the major championships for his Bears, Cubs, White Sox, Bulls, Blackhawks and Sky while enduring many, many losing seasons.  He also had a passion for the open roads that he drove for so many years.

Beloved Husband of 45 years to Pompeya nee Astorga.

Loving Father of Margarita "Margie" (fiancé Anthony Pieri) Almanza.

Dearest Brother of Rose Marie, Jesusita, Ramon, late Thomas, late Frances, late Louisa and the late Trina.

Devoted Son of the late Nicholas Sr. and the late Eleanor and step-son of the late Augustina.

Uncle of Rory Barrett and many other dear nieces and nephews.

Many other dear family members.

Visitation and Funeral on Friday, September 16, 2022.  Visitation from 9:00am to 10:00am at O'NEIL FUNERAL HOME 1105 E. 9th St., Lockport with prayers at 10:00am.  Funeral Mass at 11:00am at Our Lady of Mt.
