Patricia A. "Pat" Malloy
(nee Young)

Age 91, late of Crest Hill, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the Lightways Hospice Home in Joliet. Patricia was a true patriot; she proudly flew the American Flag. An avid Chicago sport fan. She was the definition of a "Hockey Mom", and was very active with the Chicago Saints, Stagg High School, and School District 230. She enjoyed traveling, bird watching, and collecting rocks. She always found the good in everything and did everything with an infectious smile and touched the hearts of everyone she met. Above all else she was devoted to her family.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael K. Malloy (1996); one son, Mickey Malloy (1982); and her parents, Lawrence and Gladys (nee Antonsen) Young.

Survived by her seven devoted children, Maureen Malloy, Kathleen Paloyan, Kevin Malloy, Mark Malloy, Kerry Malloy, Mary Malloy, and William Malloy; 12 cherished grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; and her dear sister, Barbara (late Luverne) Lovaasen.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Chapel Service on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment following at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Evergreen Park. For Info: (815) 838-5010
