Paulette K. Olszta

Age 80, of Lockport passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pipestone, MN, raised in Wilmington, IL, and a resident of Lockport since 1968. Retired from Saint Raphael Catholic School, Naperville where she was a dedicated kindergarten teacher from 1989-2001. Paulette was an avid reader, loved to travel especially with her daughter, and enjoyed spending time with family.

Preceded in death by her parents, James and Pauline (nee Krick) Zap

Survived by her devoted husband, Robert Olszta; three loving children, Lisa (Paul) Dewispelaere, Kevin (Chris) Olszta, and Edward (Eileen) Olszta; three cherished grandchildren, Jack Olszta, Samantha Olszta, and Maxine Olszta; two sisters, Barbara Redding and Patricia Sharper; and many loved family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Paulette's name would be greatly appreciated.

Per Paulette's wishes cremation rites have been respectfully addressed.

Memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 5:00pm until time of Memorial Service at 7:00pm.
