Peter M. Gabriel,

Age 69, born in Chicago; Homer Glen and Crest Hill resident, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.  Retired Laborer from Local 75.  Peter loved travelling, especially his trips to Las Vegas.  He loved to cook and enjoyed eating Chinese food.  Most of all, he loved his family and friends and he will be missed by all.

Preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine Ornder and his father, Peter M. Gabriel Sr.; son, Peter M. Gabriel III; siblings, Robert Gabriel, Steven Gabriel and Joan (late Bill) Kohler.

Survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Mary Lou (nee Ritcheson); loving children, Lorrie (James) Walker and Angie (Rick) Splant; grandchildren, Dylan, Tristan, Logan, Erik, Ryan, Rhys and Colin and one great-grandson, Jaxson; step-father, J Ornder; brother, David Carpenter; dear brother-in-law and nephew; many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation and Service Saturday July 22, 2023 from 2:00pm to time of Chapel Service at 5:00pm at O'NEIL FUNERAL HOME 1105 E. 9th St., Lockport.  Cremation will be private.  For Info: (815) 838-5010
