Porfiria Davila

(Nee Flores)

Age 95, late of Aurora passed away peacefully at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital on Sunday, July 3, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Las Trojas, Mexico, moved to the United States in 2012.

Preceded in death her beloved husband, Merced Davila; two daughters, Angelina, and Guadalupe in infancy; one son, Lorenzo Davila; her parents, Jesus and Dorotea (Nee Sandoval) Flores; and a sister, Ines Flores.

Survived by her seven devoted children, Merced (Ana Marie) Davila, Jesus (Alice) Davila, Ruben (Maria) Davila, Raquel (Manuel) Haro, Juanita (Conrado) Martinez, Benita (Javier) Aguayo, and Jose (Eva)Davila; 21 loving grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; and one sister, Maria (late Guadalupe) Flores. She was a kind and loving soul and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 10:00am in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441. Burial will take place immediately following services at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Romeoville. Visitation in the funeral home chapel on Friday, July 8, 2022, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
