Richard J. "Dick" Hall

Age 87, late of Lockport passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, with his loving family by his side. Born in Chicago, raised in LaGrange, and a resident of Lockport for the past 16 years. A proud United States Army Veteran. An avid Notre Dame fan, enjoyed golfing, but above all else loved attending his grandchildren's sports and activities. He was truly the BEST husband, dad, and grandpa around and will be deeply missed.

Preceded in death by his parents, William and Arline (Nee Murray) Hall; and a sister Arline (Dan) Raffen.

Survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Barbara (Nee Hoppenrath); five loving children, Mark (Kathy), Chris (Debbie), Greg, Scott (Dawn) Hall, and Sandy (Frank Markett) Gannon; and many adored grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St., Lockport, IL 60441 from 4:00pm until 9:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, October 1, 2022, at St. Dennis Church 1214 S. Hamilton St. Lockport, IL 60441, 10:00am. Following Mass Cremation Rites will be respectfully addressed. Private Inurnment with full Military Honors will be held at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park at a later date.
