Richard P. Gordon

"Dickie"

Age 80, late of Lockport passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Joliet and was a lifelong resident of Lockport. Retired from Lockport Township East High School in 2014 where he was a dedicated Janitor for 42 years. Lifelong member of the Lockport Moose Lodge #1557, and member of St. Dennis Church, Lockport. Dickie liked to feed the animals in his yard, going on walks, and was an avid junk collector.

Preceded in death by his parents, Richard Sr., and Elsie (Nee Sartori) Gordon, and numerous aunts, uncles, and other cherished family members.

Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 ¾ years, Pat (Nee Ahearn) Gordon; one cherished daughter, Ellie (Rick) Young of Lockport; one adored grandson, Sean Patrick Pierson; two loved step grandchildren, Chris and Josh Pierson; and his friend and dear cousin, Johnny Carroll.

Per Dickie's wishes cremation rites were respectfully addressed.
