"Bob", "Bubba"

Age 61, late of Lockport passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, raised in Burbank and a resident of Lockport since 2006. Robert was a Dental Technician for many dedicated years. He was an avid comic book collector, a very talented artist and especially enjoyed model kit building. Above all else he cherished spending time with his family.

Survived by his loving mother, Dorothy (Nee Schwab) Canan; his father, Robert P. Canan Sr.; 3 devoted siblings, Robyn (James) Twohill, Kenneth Canan and Richard (Neda Turek) Canan; goddaughter and niece, Brooke Twohill and one nephew, Brett Twohill; faithful companion, Redbone. Numerous other cherished family members and friends also survive.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 in the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL., 60441 at 9:00am to St. Joseph Church, Lockport for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Romeoville.

Visitation Friday, March 19, 2021 at the funeral home from 4:00pm until 9:00pm.
