Robert C. Murphy
“Murph”
Age 80, of Lockport passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28, 2026. Born in Joliet and was lifelong resident of Lockport. He had a lifelong passion for the stock market, enjoying the challenge and the excitement while following the daily twist and turns.
Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marian (nee Woock) Murphy; his beloved brother, Jack Murphy; and in laws, Donald and Dorothy (nee Fritz) Walsh.
Survived by the love of his life of 33 years, Judy (nee Walsh) Murphy; one son, Robert (Nancy Bray) Murphy; three cherished siblings, Linda (late Chuck) Pastore, Patricia (late Jerry) Spannan, and Michael (Michelle) Murphy; sister in law, Patricia (Mark) Brannick; brother in law, Michael Walsh; and many loved nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, and dear friends.
