Roger T. Mammosser

Age 76, resident of Homer Glen for the past 50 years passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 28, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Joliet. A proud United States Vietnam Army Veteran. Member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lockport. A graduate of Joliet Catholic High School and Joliet Junior College. Owner of Rosanna's Pizza in Lockport for over 16 years. He enjoyed golfing and working as a ranger at Broken Arrow Golf Course. Roger was an all-around Chicago sports fan; he loved the White Sox, Bears and Blackhawks.

He was always a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to all that had the opportunity to know him. Above all else he cherished spending time with his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Cecelia (Nee: Szopinski) Mammosser; and one sister, Sylvia Klepec.

Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Christine (Nee: Rozanski) Mammosser; two cherished children, Mark (Sara) Mammosser, and Todd Mammosser; three adored grandchildren, Stella, Jonathan, and Olivia Mammosser; and brother-in-law, Bill Klepec. Many nieces, nephews and other cherished family members also survive. The Mammosser family would like to thank dear family and friends for all their love and support during recent trying times. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Joseph Church, Lockport or Lightways Hospice, Joliet in Roger's name would be greatly appreciated.

Visitation will be held, Friday, July 2, 2021, in the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St., Lockport, Il 60441 from 9:30am until 11:30am prayers then proceeding to St. Joseph Church, Lockport for Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon. Following Mass, Cremation Rites will be respectfully addressed.
