Rosemary K. Freitag

(Nee Murphy)

Age 95, late of Lockport passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.

Born and raised in Chicago, lived in Hometown, Oak Lawn, Manteno, was a Florida Snowbird and a resident of Lockport for the last three years. Former member of Our Lady of Loretto Parish, Hometown, St. Gerald Parish, Oak Lawn, and currently attended Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church, Lockport.

Preceded in death, her beloved husband, George E. Freitag; one son, Brian G. Freitag; parents, John and Marie (Nee Keefe) Murphy; and one sister, Colleen Murphy.

Survived by her five children, Mike (Deborah) Freitag, Karen (Ken) Franz, Gail Freitag, Paul (Carol) Freitag, and Kevin (Maryanne) Freitag; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one brother, John Murphy; and one sister, Patricia (Gerald) LaHucik. Please Omit flowers.

Services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 10:00am with everyone meeting at Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church 925 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441. Interment immediately following services at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice. Visitation Thursday, October 7, 2021, in the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
