RoseMarie Pendziszewski

(Nee Rigoni)

Age 94, late of Lockport passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 22, 2021. Lifelong resident of Lockport born in her parents' home on Clinton St. and passed away peacefully in her marital home where she lived for 70 years. She worked at the A&P Grocery Store where she met the love of her life Steve. Member of St. Joseph Church, Lockport. She and Steve shared the Honor of being the first recipients of the Legacy Award at St. Joseph's Gala. RoseMarie and her friends, Chris Kure and Mary Petges ran Mc Joseph's Kitchen at Thursday night BINGO for 18 years. In the late 80's she and Chris Kure founded the Alumni Mothers Association to raise money for rehab projects in the Church. She enjoyed playing senior BINGO at the Lockport Park District.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steve F. Pendziszewski; parents, Angelo and Lena (Nee Fracaro) Rigoni; one sister, Louise Rigoni; two brothers, John (Rose) Rigoni and Raymond Rigoni; two nephews, Dennis and James Rigoni.

Survived by her devoted children, Steve H. (Nancy), Nina (late Larry Hoffman) Schreiner, Tom, Kathy (Bill) Hydo; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; a dear nephew, Rick (Cari) Rigoni. Numerous other cherished family members and friends also survive. The Pendziszewski family would like to thank Angel Grace Hospice for their exceptional love, care, and support especially Nurse Nicole.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Little Friends, Inc. Warrenville or St. Joseph Church Lockport would be appreciated.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, Il 60441, from 9:00am until time of Prayers at 11:00am. Following prayers Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville.
