Age 80, late of Monee, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Born and raised in Chicago, lived in Park Forest and a resident of Monee for the past 40 years. Ruth Ann was an avid reader enjoyed fishing and playing the slot machines. She was a kind and loving soul and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ruth (Nee: Burg) Heisman; one brother, James Heisman; and one sister, Helen Schmidt.

Survived by her devoted children, Christine (Jimmy Livsey) VonKline-Serna, Pauline (David) Copple, and Scott (Vicki) Phillips; four loving grandchildren, Chynna Serna, Kelly (Matt) Taylor, Kristen Copple, and Caitlyn Phillips; one adored great granddaughter, Amelia Taylor; one sister, Rosemary Smith; and former spouse, Bob Mason. Numerous other cherished family members and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, in the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 4:00pm until time of Funeral Service at 7:30pm with Pastor Paul Anderson of First Presbyterian Church, Merrillville, IN officiating.

Interment will take place on Thursday, April 28, 2022, with everyone meeting at Acacia Park Cemetery, 7800 Irving Park Rd. Norridge, IL 60706 at 11:00am.
