Obituary

Ryan Lee Dunn, 50

Of Romeoville, Illinois, died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, October 13, 2024.

Ryan is survived by his mother, Martha N. Dunn of Rossford, OH; sister Lisa M. Feather (Mike) of Walbridge, OH and his nieces Olivia N. Feather and Morgan M. Feather, whom he adored.  He leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his best friend, his dad, Jerry L. Dunn; his grandparents Lula Mae and Walter G. Davis and Robert Lee and Doris A. Dunn with whom he shared a special relationship.

Ryan was born on March 4,1974 in Oregon, OH. He graduated from Lake High School (Penta Career Center) in 1992. Although Ryan was never married or never had children of his own, he was a father/uncle figure to many kids throughout the years, he truly had so much love for each of them. He worked for KeHE Distributors for 25 years as a Transportation Routing Specialist.

If you knew Ryan, you know he was a passionate republican - who most likely is upset about missing the 2024 election. He once was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, a love he shared with his Dad and their friends. He loved his nieces and was proud of everything they did. Ryan loved his Mama and his sister. Ryan was a private person but when he loved you, he loved you hard.

A private memorial service is being planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Ryan Dunn Memorial Fund set up for continuing education for his nieces, Olivia and Morgan.  Checks can be dropped off at any Sun Federal Credit Union or can be mailed to:

The family would like to acknowledge and thank some of Ryan's close friends, Zachary and Linsey Richards and their children, who were like family and loved him well.
