Sharon A. Burke-Addis

Age 70, of Lockport passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Sharon lived in Lockport all of her life. Her first job was at McDonalds and then went on to work in the banking industry for many dedicated years, retiring in 2020. Sharon was sometimes bossy and crabby, but she was always the first one there when you needed her- heaven help anyone who thought she wouldn't be. She was our protector and is already deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She married James Addis on September 12, 1995, in Las Vegas, a place they both loved, even though they were not big gamblers.

Sharon leaves behind her loving husband, Jim Addis; her sister, Sandra (David) Valentino; three brothers, John Londrie, Darrell (Kim) Hudgens, and Robert (Lisa) Hudgens; three nieces, Rachel (Dillan) Butler, Teresa Hudgens, and Becky Hudgens; two great nieces, Zelda and Joanna Butler; two nephews, Manny Borrego and Robert Bennett; two step sons, Carmen (Dena) Addis and James (Laura) Addis; step grandchildren; her dear aunt and uncle, Beatrice and Richard Hert; many dear cousins; her beloved dog, Oscar whom she cherished. Oscar was one of many schnauzers she has throughout her life.

Per Sharon's wishes cremation rites were respectfully addressed. There will be a private celebration of life.
