Sharon L. Stevenson

(nee Brown)

Age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Born and raised in Chicago, lived in Lisle, and a resident of Lockport since 1964. Retired from Lemont Primary Care in July of 2025 after many years of dedicated service. Sharon will forever be remembered for her exceptional baked goods, especially her delicious cakes, cookies and cheesecake. She enjoyed working in the yard and was an avid gardener. Above all else she cherished spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, John W. Stevenson Jr. (2006); her son in infancy, Keith Allan Stevenson; her parents, Dena and Concetta (nee DiPasquali) Brown; one brother, Ken Brown; two sisters, Deanna Tommila, and Vivian Brown in infancy.

Survived by her devoted children, Dena (Carmen) Addis, Ginger (Scott Watson) Stevenson, Mike (Melissa) Stevenson, Ken Stevenson, and Heather Stevenson; her loving grandchildren, Cameron and Dominic Addis, Natalie Ozmon, Jake (Jessica) , Lindsay, and Erin Stevenson, and Alyssa Stevenson, two adored great grandchildren, Owen and Sawyer Stevenson; one sister, Carol (Bill) Matousek, and numerous nephews, nieces, friends, and dear co-workers.

Per Sharon's wishes cremation rites have been respectfully addressed.

As a tribute to Sharon's love for nature, her family requests you to plant a tree in the Lockport area in her memory instead of sending flowers.
