Shirley L. Manikas (nee Larson)

Age 90, late of Lockport, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Joliet, and a lifelong resident of Lockport.

Shirley's love of her family was foremost with a special priority for her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed her friends, community, her dogs and had a love for travel.  A special thanks to her loving caregivers, Adrianna, Amanda, Lori and Rhyanne.

Preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Anna Larson; brother, Donald Larson

Survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, George Sr.; two children, Linda (Robert) Walker and George Jr. (late Laura) Manikas; grandchildren, Christina (Tom) Fabek, Steven (Katie) Walker, Dianna Walker, Stephanie (John) Worley, Emily Manikas and George III Manikas; great-grandchildren, Kellen and Briggs Walker, Nathan and Hannah Fabek; nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the First United Methodist Church of Lockport or the American Heart Association appreciated ( www.heart.org )

Visitation and Funeral will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, at the O'Neil Funeral Home 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 10:00am until 12:00 Noon for prayers.  Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.  For Info: 815-838-5010
