Shirley A. Milas

(Nee Hohimer)

Age 84, late of Lockport passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born and raised in Petersburg, IL., and a resident of Lockport since 1974.

Shirley loved baking, playing cards, sewing, enjoyed crafting, but above all else she cherished spending time with her grandchildren and family who were her everything.

Preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and five sisters.

Survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Joe Milas; three devoted children, David, Larry and Rodney (Traci) Milas; six grandchildren, Dave Jr., Kathryn, Jeff, Brandon, Sarah and Grace; one great granddaughter, Savannah Milas. Numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members also survive.

Services will be held Monday, November 23, 2020 in the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9th St., Lockport, IL., 60441 at 10:00am with Deacon Lupe Villarreal officiating. Interment will be privately held with only her immediate family in attendance.

Visitation Sunday, November 22, 2020 at the funeral home from 2:00pm until 6:00pm.

Due to Covid-19 mask, social distancing, and limited number of attendees at one time in the funeral home will be strictly enforced.
