Stephanie C. Buckner

Age 42, late of Lockport, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 23, 2021. Born in Palos Heights, raised in Tinley Park and a resident of Lockport for many years. Stephanie was a very gifted Artist, she had a great love for children, had a passion for animals, enjoyed attending concerts but above all else she cherished her family. A 1996 graduate of Tinley Park Highschool, after Highschool she attended Moraine Valley Community College and Governors State University.

Survived by her loving and cherished daughter, Averie LaPorte; mother, Christine (Thomas) Shem of Lockport; father, Thomas (Dianna) Buckner of Plainfield; a sister, Heather (David) Ingevaldson of Geneva; adored nieces, Olivia and Penelope Ingevaldson and numerous other extended family members whom she loved also survive.

A Private family memorial service will be held with only her immediate family in attendance.

Stephanie's family will greet relatives and friends with a memorial gathering on Saturday, February 6, 2021 in the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL., 60441  from 11:00am until 1:00pm.

Cremation Rites have been respectfully addressed.
