"Steve"

Age 64, late of Chicago passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Chicago, and a Chicago resident most of his life. Steven loved bowling and Hockey. An avid N.Y. Yankees fan, N.Y. Rangers fan, Notre Dame fan and Chicago Cubs fan. But above all else he cherished spending time with his family.

Preceded in death his mother, Maryellen (Nee Gill) Bierwirth; and son-in-law, Patrick Harden.

Survived by his loving daughter, Natalie Harden; his father, Robert Bierwirth; two adored granddaughters, Elisabeth and Jillian Harden; two brothers, Thomas (Kathy) and Daniel (Belinda Milbratz) Bierwirth; and one sister, Kathy (late Robert) Jurasek; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many other cherished family members also survive.

Services will be held Thursday, January 7, 2021 in the O'Neil Funeral Home 1105 E. 9 ^th St., Lockport, IL., 60441 at 10:45 am proceeding to St. Dennis Church, Lockport for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am.

Interment Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery Orland Park immediately following services.

Visitation Thursday, January 7, 2021 in the funeral home chapel from 9:00am until 10:45am.
