Susan M. Jamros

(Nee Lewis)

Age 72, late of Lockport, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 31, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Sandusky, Ohio, raised in Ohio, raised her family in Cicero, IL, and a resident of Lockport for over 25 years. Member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Lockport. Susan loved to crochet, puzzles, bowling, she enjoyed fishing, farm animals, and old western movies. Above all else she cherished spending time with her loving family.

Preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Emily (Nee Burtscher) Lewis; and one brother, George Lewis.

Survived by her devoted son, Johnny (Jamie) Jamros of Homer Glen; her faithful companion, Danny Jamros; two adored grandchildren, Jack and Jenna Jamros; one sister, Donna (Bruce) Hedrich of Lake Geneva, WI; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, other cherished family members and friends also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials to an animal shelter of donor's choice in Susan's name would be greatly appreciated.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am with Reverend Christopher Antonetti of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be held privately at Barnett Cemetery, Lockport, IL.
