Thomas Joseph O'Neil

"Tom" "Tommy"

Thomas "Tom" "Tommy" Joseph O'Neil was born on May 12, 1951, in Joliet, Illinois.   He passed away peacefully at his home in Prescott, Arizona on February 16, 2025, just shy of his 75th birthday.

He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.  He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Francis O'Neil (1986) and Elizabeth (Kelly) O'Neil (1997).

Tom was survived by his three siblings, brother Kevin Alphonsus O'Neil of Indianapolis, Indiana and sisters, Mary Frances Campbell of Seneca South Carolina and Ann Kelly O'Neil of Prescott, Arizona, as well as his nephews Marc Campbell and Patrick O'Neil and niece, Elizabeth Orlando, several great nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.

Tom's health began to decline in 2021.  Throughout the past four years he maintained his sense of humor, love of family and friends, the Washington Redskins and Notre Dame.   He came from a long line of story tellers, stories he loved to tell and stories that he will be remembered by.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Private family celebration of life was held in Wilmington, Illinois.
