Tomasa Rojas

Age 73, of Lockport passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 28, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Mexico, moved to the United States at the age of 20, and a resident of Lockport since 2018. She enjoyed traveling with her loving husband, Cristobal. Tomasa loved her family unconditionally, she especially cherished spending time with her grandkids. She was a kind and loving soul and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Concepcion (Nee Garcia) Sanchez; and numerous loved siblings, family members, and friends.

Survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Cristobal Rojas; four children, Christopher (Juanita) Rojas, Leticia Rojas, Carlos Rojas, and Edgar (Sarah) Rojas; 12 adored grandchildren; three sisters, Maria Sanchez, Inocente Sanchez, and Estela Sanchez.

Chapel prayers will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9th St. Lockport, IL 60441 at 9:15am proceeding to St. Joseph Church, Lockport for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment following Mass at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Romeoville. Visitation on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the Funeral Home from 3:00pm until 7:00pm.
