Obituary

Walter Kobylanski

"Wally"

Age 72, late of the Lago Vista Community in Lockport, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 3, 2024. Born in Youngstown, OH, lived in Chicago, Tinley Park, and Lockport since 2016. Member of Teamsters Union 705, 710, and IB of T for many dedicated years and retired in 2009. Wally was an avid Chicago White Sox fan, sports fan, and was always his grandchildren's biggest fan. Above all else he was a devoted husband, father, and grandpa. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by parents, Chester and Harriet (Nee Jankiewicz) Kobylanski.

Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Celestine (Nee Kurzawa) Kobylanski; two cherished daughters, Jennie (Mike) Zamzow, and Marisa (Matt) Marzec; five adored grandchildren, Dylan, Emma, and Cody Zamzow, and Mason, and Mila Marzec; two sisters, Helen (Bud) Christopher, and Diane (Gerry) Peretti; numerous other cherished family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Parkinson's Foundations in Wally's name would be greatly appreciated.
