Wieslaw Loboz

Age 59, late of Lockport passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Poland, moved to the United States in 1995, and a resident of Lockport since 1999. He loved playing volleyball and was very active. He was a police officer while living in Poland. Member of St. Joseph Church, Lockport. Wieslaw was a man of great faith and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by is parents, Wladyslaw and Aniela (Nee Bulawa) Loboz.

Survived by his devoted wife, Bonnie (Nee Dziedina) Loboz; two loving sons, Luke (Jessica) Loboz, and Paul (Nicole) Loboz; four adored grandchildren, Vivian, Henry, June, and Logan Loboz; one brother, Janusz (Sophie) Loboz; and a sister, Ela Loboz (Greg).

Prayers will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9th St. Lockport, IL 60441 at 10:15am proceeding to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lockport for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Interment following Mass at Lockport City Cemetery, Lockport.  Visitation at the Funeral Home Friday, February 7, 2025, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
