Passed March 5, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.  William was born on August 21, 1937, in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico.

Beloved Husband of the late Sylvia.  Loving Pappi to three beautiful daughters, Maddy Coppley of Lexington, NC, Maria Velazquez, and Marta Colon both of Chicago, IL

Cherished Abuelo to Kristen, Kevin, Mia, Neisure, Rachael, Miranda, and Devon and Bisabuelo to Chayse, Leland, Aaliyah, Max, Bodhi, Carter, Rory and Josiah.

Known for his kindness, patience, generosity, humor, strength, courage. William built his home on the foundation of those values and passed that legacy onto his family and friends. We are forever altered by the love William gave to us so freely.
