William P. Niesman

"Bill"

Age 84, Late of Homer Glen passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Born and raised in Chicago and a resident of Homer Glen for the past 32 years. A proud United States Army Veteran. Bill Worked at Kroger Grocery Store as a manager and then retired in 1999 from Illinois Bell after 35 years of dedicated service. A 1959 graduate of St. Rita High School. An avid fisherman, a big Chicago Bears and Cubs fan, loved watching classic movies, westerns, reading and tinkering in the garage.  In retirement he enjoyed spending time at the family farm. Above all else he cherished spending time with his family. Bill will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Bridget Agnes (Nee Boland) Niesman.

Survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Charmaine (Nee Kalas) Niesman; two loving children, Bridget (Michael) Vogenthaler, and Bill Niesman; three adored  grandchildren, Ashlee (fiancé Steven Taggart) Vogenthaler, Callaghan and Ava Niesman; one cherished brother, John " Jack" Niesman, and many family members and friends.

Per  Bill's wishes cremation rites have been respectfully addressed and a memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
