Yareli Kiara Ortiz

"YaYa"

Yareli was born on August 14, 2013 and became a little angel on December 16, 2021. She attended Taft Grade School in Lockport.  She enjoyed gymnastics especially cartwheels, backflips, backbends, handstands, and the splits. Yareli loved butterflies, unicorns, painting her nails, dancing, singing, movie nights and was very organized. Above all else she enjoyed playing with her friends and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survived by her loving mother, Christina Cardenas; her father, Marco Ortiz; maternal grandparents, Maria and Jaime Cardenas; paternal grandparents, Salome and Jesus Ortiz; three uncles, Alejandro and Jaime (Jazmine) Cardenas and Jose Ortiz; two aunts, Cynthia Cardenas and Maritza Ortiz; two cousins, Lucas Cardenas and Alexa Ortega; great grandparents, Antonio and Esperanza Vazquez. Numerous cherished friends also survive.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021, in the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 4:00pm until time of Funeral Service at 7:00pm. Everyone is to meet at cemetery no procession from funeral home for Interment Friday, December 24, 2021 promptly at 9:00am, Lockport City Cemetery 5th St. & Madison St. Lockport, IL 60441.
