"Ziggy"

Age 78, late of Lockport passed away peacefully at St. Joseph Hospital, Joliet on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Retired from Nabisco after many years of dedicated service. Member of St. Joseph Church, Lockport. He was a dedicated husband, father, and DziaDziu. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by his parents, Johan and Julia (Nee Kranz) Hoffman; and one brother, Bolek Hoffman.

Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Christine (Nee Miras) Hoffman; two cherished children, Lisa (Gunther) Wagner of Australia, and Erik (Katie) Hoffman; 6 adored grandchildren, Clark, Miranda, Avalon, and Grant Wagner, and Kaylee, and Kelsey Hoffman; and one sister, Janina (late Edward) Rogowski. Numerous other cherished family members and friends also survive.

Per Zygmunt's wishes cremation rites have been respectfully addressed.

Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at St. Joseph Church 410 S. Jefferson St. Lockport, IL 60441 at 10:00am.  Inurnment will be held at a later day.
